Museum of Ice Cream

Museum of Ice Cream

100 Gansevoort Street
New York, NY 10014

Starting July 29th you can indulge in the magic of ice cream with a pop up museum in the Meatpacking District, just a few steps away from the Whitney. For a whole month New Yorkers will have the chance to experience ice cream in a different and more creative way.

The Museum of Ice Cream will feature visual designs by local artist as well as interactive art including: a swimmable rainbow ‘sprinkle’ pool, ice cream sandwich swing (for two) and a giant ice cream scooper seesaw. Once you’re done playing with your food, go ahead and eat it! This museum kicks it up a notch with a tasting station of specialty ice cream flavors created by “food futurist” Dr. Irwin Adam, founder of Future Food Studio.

Also included in the admission is a special ‘Scoop of the Week’, which features ice cream from local vendors including OddFellows Ice Cream Co., Black Tap and many more. Not bad for $18 bucks right? But if you bring a friend you can have all this fun for just $15! Either way it’s a win-win situation!
